Whether you’re a golf collector wishing to source one of golf’s rarest items, or you’re looking to buy a golfer you know that ultimate gift, I can help. My name is Gavin Bottrell, I live in the UK, and I have been trading in high quality golf antiques for over 15 years.

It is estimated that probably only about 1000 genuine feathery golf ball balls are still in existence and most of them are in museums or private golf collections. Golfers stopped using feather golf balls in the 1850s. They became scarce very quickly as 1) there weren’t many golfers in the world at time.....probably only about 15,000....and 99% of them were in Scotland, and 2) nobody gave a thought that one day they would be considered treasures of the game so they threw them away!

Over the past 15 years I have sourced a number of feather balls - obtaining my first feathery was definitely one of the highlights of my golf collecting career.

Send me an email at info@timewarpgolf.com if you’d like to know what feathery golf balls I have available for private purchase. Please put “seeking feathery golf ball” in the title area to ensure my swiftest attention. Discretion and privacy is assured with all purchases.
